The Workshops

Our course of four workshops, to run over the next year (Sept 2006 to June 2007) will cover;

- technique, that is, how to hold the violin, and how to move, in order to make the best sound possible!
- pub music sessions, and "session etiquette"!
- how the violin works, how to choose a new one and how to look after it.
- famous fiddle players, past and present, and their recordings
- arranging tunes and performance skills.

(You do not need to come to all of the workshops - they "stand alone" in themselves, but each will cover different topics.)

Workshops cost £60 per day, with a £15 deposit payable 2 weeks in advance. The price includes lunch, a workbook to take away, and a CD of all the tunes covered during the workshop.
Matt's existing students are all entitled to a discount of £10.
